COP31 is the 31st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). It will take place on 9-20 November 2026 in Antalya, hosted by Türkiye.

COP31 welcomes accredited delegations, observers, media, and civil society partners. Public engagement opportunities are available through the Green Zone, which is open to all.

The COP31 Action Agenda highlights ten priority themes: Zero Waste, Oceans and Seas, Food Security, Climate-Resilient Cities, Climate Implementation Bridge (CIB), Youth and Education, Green Industrialization, Clean Energy Transition, Rio Synergy, and Dynamic and Resilient Health Systems. Finance, technology, and capacity building serve as horizontal enablers across all themes.

COP31 will be held at the Antalya EXPO Center in Aksu, Antalya. The venue is accessible via Antalya Airport (international flights), modern highways, and dedicated COP31 shuttle services will be arranged.

Blue Zone

The Blue Zone is the official conference area managed by the UNFCCC. International climate negotiations, summits, and formal meetings take place in this area.

Only UNFCCC-accredited individuals can enter: country delegations, observer organizations, UN agencies, media representatives, heads of state, and senior officials.

The Blue Zone is open only to accredited participants for official negotiations. The Green Zone is open to the public with exhibitions, events, and awareness activities.

The Green Zone is a publicly accessible area designed as part of the COP climate conferences. Civil society, academia, the private sector, and visitors come together here.
