COP31 Subsidized Youth Accommodation: Applications Now Open

The COP31 Presidency has opened applications for subsidized accommodation for young delegates from Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs) attending COP31. The support aims to make it easier for young people aged 18-35, from Parties and observer organizations, to take part in the conference in person.
Room and breakfast will be provided from 8 to 22 November 2026. This is not a competitive selection process: eligible youth delegates who submit a complete application with all required documents will be offered a room within the available capacity, on a first-come, first-served basis.
To apply, candidates must be between 18 and 35 years old, be from a SIDS or an LDC, be registered for COP31, hold an acknowledgement letter confirming their participation and a valid passport, and attend the event in person for the full accommodation period applied for. Applicants will be asked to upload a passport image, their COP31 acknowledgement letter and an air ticket, or a signed letter of commitment from their sponsor to purchase the air ticket.
Hotels are assigned by the organizers, and dates and bookings cannot be changed once a room has been offered. The accommodation offer does not guarantee that a visa or entry permission to Türkiye will be granted.
Applications can be submitted at youth-accommodation.cop31.tr until 30 October 2026, 23:59 (TRT). For questions: Cop31presidency@cop31.tr
