COP31 thematic days announced: 12 days, 12 priorities
The COP31 Presidency has announced the thematic day programme for the United Nations Climate Change Conference, taking place in Antalya from 9 to 20 November 2026. Each of the conference's twelve days is dedicated to a distinct priority area of climate action.
World Leaders Climate Action Summit on 11-12 November
The World Leaders Climate Action Summit, the highest-level segment of the programme, will convene on the third and fourth days of the conference — 11-12 November 2026. Bringing together heads of state and government, the summit aims to strengthen political momentum, reinforce global cooperation and accelerate the implementation of climate commitments.
Its first day runs alongside the Zero Waste theme and its second day alongside Resilient Cities and Built Environment. Further details are available on the Leaders Summit page.

The programme opens on 9 November with Food, Agriculture and Health, followed by Energy and Transport on 10 November.
